No. Small stones often pass with fluids, pain relief and sometimes medication to relax the ureter. Size, position and whether the kidney is obstructed decide the plan — which is what the scan is for.

No. PSA rises with age, prostate size, infection and even recent cycling. A raised value is a reason to look further — with examination, repeat testing and sometimes an MRI — not a diagnosis in itself.

Yes. Kidney stones, recurrent urine infections and bladder problems are all urological, and are common in women. Some conditions overlap with gynaecology and are managed jointly.
